Sport
Intro
One of my passions is sport. I love to watch, coach, play, and get involved in any way I can.
Right now, with the NFL and Premier League Soccer seasons over, I am immersing myself in the WNBA (go Fever!) and NWSL. I’m particularly excited about the growth of women’s sports and eager to see how much further we can go. Although I no longer play competitively, I still crave involvement. I am exploring a transition to a career closer to sport, specifically in player relations or the investment space.
Being part of a sports team is one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences. Princeton Field Hockey tested me and stretched me in many ways, but it also provided opportunities that changed my life.
Overcoming Challenges: Everest Base Camp
After suffering a serious concussion in my first year at Princeton, I took a year out to recover. Returning to the UK felt like a failure, as if I were telling the world I couldn’t ‘hack it’. During this time, it was unclear if I wanted to return to Princeton. However, I set my sights on achieving a new personal goal, one that would demonstrate to myself that I could persevere through adversity and pivot to find a ‘win’ despite challenging circumstances.

I climbed to Everest Base camp in July 2016. It was the single most physically challenging thing I have done (I have run a marathon, I have ran in the deep NJ heat, and more). It is also one ofmy proudest achievements.

Returning to Princeton: Princeton Field Hockey
I returned to Princeton in the Fall of 2016 and rejoined the team. I started in goal for all four years and captained the team for two. Together, we reached three Final Fours and a National Championship game.
Sport teaches many valuable lessons, and as a coach to a high school team, I strive to impart these lessons: discipline, accountability, kindness, empathy, time management, and more. One lesson from Princeton Field Hockey that stands out is that being part of a winning team is easy and fun. However, teams are truly made or broken in moments of loss. Your reaction to each other, the ability to remain kind yet honest, is what determines what comes next.

Coaching Experience
Head Field Hockey Coach: Within two seasons, I led the team from a single-win season to winning over five games. I expanded the team roster, consistently fielding both a competitive Varsity team and a JV team.
Head JV Soccer Coach: I manage session plans, roster selection, and player welfare. I engaged the team in a structured 10-week learning plan, resulting in over four JV players being asked to play for Varsity.
